Gary Gygax døde om morgenen tirsdag den 4. marts. Hans død er den første ‘berømthed’, hvis død faktisk har rørt mig. I kraft af hans skabelse af Dungeons and Dragons kan hans indflydelse på al senere fantasy og spil næppe overvurderes – jeg kan slet ikke forestille mig hvor meget anderledes mit eget liv ville have været uden hans værk.
